Gord Medland is the Deputy Chairman of Leede Jones Gable Inc. and has over 30 years of experience in the securities industry. In past years he has been a director of the Canadian Securities Institute (The Canadian Securities Education arm), the Canadian Investors Protection Fund, the Investment Dealers Association of Canada (now IIROC), the Canadian National Stock Exchange, the Vancouver Stock Exchange (past Vice-Chairman), and numerous private companies. Additionally, he is a fellow of CSI (FCSI).
Mr. Thomas Jaw is Senior Vice President for Asian Business of Leede Jones Gable Inc. Born and raised in Taipei, Taiwan, Mr. Jaw immigrated to Canada when he was a teenager. Mr. Jaw was the 2001/2002 Chairman of Monte Jade Science & Technology Association (Western Canada), this professional association promotes cooperation and the mutual flow of technology and investment between Asia and North America. Mr. Jaw has over 30 years of experience servicing local and overseas Asian clients as an investment advisor. Over the last 10 years, Mr. Jaw has been involved in structuring and financing companies listed on the TSX and TSX-Venture Exchange. Currently, he spends majority of his time assisting clients from China to identify qualified Canadian projects for long term strategic investments. Mr. Jaw has traveled extensively with Canadian Stock Exchange officials in the Asia Pacific region to promote the Canadian capital market and he has given speeches in various Chambers of Commerce in the region. He also has great contacts with many respectable business leaders in the greater China area.
Larry Martin has been in the securities industry since 1984 and joined Leede Jones Gable Inc. in 2004 as Branch Manager and Senior Vice-President. Prior to joining Leede Jones Gable, Larry was a founding partner and President of Georgia Pacific Securities until selling his ownership in 2001 and joining Canaccord Capital Corporation as a Senior Vice-President and Director. Larry’s passion is to take private companies public and to structure financial deals. His favorite activity outside of business is golfing and he is a member of the Point Grey Golf & Country Club.
Lilian started her career at McDermid St. Lawrence in 1997, which subsequently became known as Raymond James Canada. She Joined L Leede Jones Gable Inc. in 2005 and has been working in the financial industry for 17 years. Her mission is to provide professional and unbiased investment advice according to clients’ needs to seek outstanding investment return.
